The Institute does not receive any funding from governments, in Australia or China, nor does it have financial support from Chinese corporations. Its Corporate Partners are companies who understand the importance of intellectual capital and insights on China, to contribute to and shape policy, to grow global business and personal networks, and to develop people so that the benefits of business and economic engagement with China are enhanced.

Many of the Corporate Partners have had a long engagement with China and have experienced successes and failures. Others have watched China’s emergence as a major global market but have not yet engaged. Wherever they are on their China engagement, they have a clear appreciation for the opportunities that are presented, the hurdles to be overcome and the risks of failing to get the strategy right.
